Dr Michelle Plattner DDS in Higginsville, Missouri.

Dr. Michelle Plattner, DDS

Dr. Plattner graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2015. She started her practice in 2017 and opened Higginsville’s location in 2021. She and her husband have 2 girls and enjoy spending time at the lake in the summer, being avid Chiefs fans, and traveling to new places. Dr. Plattner loves serving a small-town community, constantly learning about new technology and treatment modalities, and making a difference in her patients’ lives. 

Dr. Brittany Fulmer DDS in Higginsville, Missouri.

Dr. Brittany Fulmer, DDS

Dr. Brittany Fulmer recently graduated from UMKC School of Dentistry and comes from a small town in Arkansas. Her favorite hobbies include attending concerts, reading, and being outdoors. She enjoys working with patients to help them achieve a healthy smile and providing a compassionate environment during their visits.

Kelly, Office Manager

Kelly has been in the dental field for over 15 years as a dental assistant. She attended Concorde Career Institute in Kansas City, where she received her Basic Skills and Expanded Functions Certificates. Kelly looks forward to getting to know each patient individually, addressing their dental needs, and improving their smile. When not at work, Kelly enjoys swimming, golfing, and hanging out with her friends and family.

Megan, Office Administrator

Megan attended State Fair Community College where she received her Associate’s Degree in Business Management. She loves welcoming patients and assisting them in any way she can before or after their appointments to make sure their experience is the best it can be. In her free time, she enjoys reading, photography, and traveling to different race tracks throughout the Midwest with her family’s sprint car team.

Brooke, Registered Dental Hygienist

Shier: Brooke has been a dental hygienist since 2014 and has worked at Plattner Dental since their opening in 2021. Brooke has been married to her husband Ross since 2016, and they live on a farm outside of Mayview with their 3 boys. She strives to make her patients feel as comfortable as possible while in her care and has a passion for making patients feel their best. In her spare time, Brooke enjoys going to the lake, vacationing with her family, and watching her boys play sports.

Breanna, Certified Dental Assistant

Breanna graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Concorde Career College in 2017. She lives in Wellington with her husband, Clayton, and their two daughters, who keep life fun and busy. Outside of work, Breanna loves spending time with family and friends. Breanna has a heart for serving others and loves being part of a small-town practice where she can build genuine connections and make a positive impact every day.

Amber

Amber, Registered Dental Hygienist

Amber attended State Fair Community College, receiving her Associate’s degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in 2009. She has been in the dental field for over 20 years. Amber has a passion for educating and helping patients improve their oral health. She and her husband, Chris, have three children and three dogs. Amber enjoys the crafting business she operates with her mother. She also enjoys spending time with her family.

Tayler, Registered Dental Hygienist

Tayler earned her Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Concorde Career College. She is passionate about creating a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable environment for every patient who walks through the door. Since 2023, Tayler has been happily married to her husband, Jeremy. Together, they enjoy spending time outdoors-camping, kayaking, and hunting whenever they get the chance.

Chassy attended ADAA in 2019 and graduated from the assisting program. Chassy has a passion for making her patients feel as comfortable as possible in the dental chair and helping people feel confident with their smiles. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and cheering on the Chiefs!

Malinda, Certified Dental Assistant

Malinda is a compassionate dental assistant who recently joined our team in Higginsville. With a focus on patient comfort and quality care, she brings a cheerful attitude and steady support to every appointment. Malinda is passionate about helping patients maintain healthy smiles through education and gentle care. Recently married in April 2025, she’s excited to begin this new chapter both personally and professionally, and looks forward to building lasting relationships with patients.
