New State-of-the-Art Dentist office in Higginsville MO
Plattner Family and Cosmetic Dentistry opened a new state-of-the-art dental office in southern Higginsville, Missouri.
“This new building was a goal of mine for a long time,” Dr. Michelle Plattner, DDS. explains. Plattner graduated from dental school in 2015 and began working with patients right away. She later bought her own practice in Marshall, Missouri. The new location brings both general and specialty dentistry to rural Missouri.
“It seemed out of reach at first, but we worked with a great construction company,” Plattner says. She partnered with Septagon Construction Co Inc in Jefferson City to make the dream a reality. Patterson Dental also provided consulting regarding supplies, equipment, and layout.
Plattner says the Higginsville area needed an additional dentist, especially one that offers specialty services like Invisalign orthodontics, oral surgery, and dentures.
“It’s a home where I’d like to stay,” she says. “I wanted it to stand the test of time. I want it to be here for many years, even after I retire. I hope that it can always for a resource for the community.”
Plattner hired interior design firm Michelle Ford Designs to give the new office a very comfortable feeling.
“Some other clinics feel sterile, cold, and unwelcoming,” she says. “But I believe our staff members’ personalities are warm and inviting, and I wanted the building to represent that too. Patient comfort is the biggest factor that I consider.”
The design also includes amenities for the staff members’ comfort, including a spacious break room and locker room.
Knehans Lawn & Landscape provided beautiful landscaping on what was formerly a section of farmland.
Computer Geeks, in Springfield, Missouri, specializes in managed IT services for dental offices and provided all of the computers, printers, and networking equipment, as well as security and data backups. And Henderson Media LLC provided a new website, search engine optimization, and other online marketing services for the new location.
All the hard work paid off, Plattner says. “We’re very happy.”
